Joe is a realist, philosopher and transcendentalist all in one. He thinks it might be possible to change the future of the world by making the best chili in the world.

Some might say the story is simple. Joe runs a food truck and the end of civilization and he makes chili. But the writing is excellent and the phrasing is sublime.

If the author may give me permission, here are two quotes from the book that I like:
"I might be forced to make mischief if things go wrong..."

"The most important thing is this: the best chili in the world is created as a reality, materialized from the land of dreams and potentials, and presented as a gift of hope to a dying world. A great bowl of chili, like a symphony, might be the very thing needed to revive this planet and turn the human race into a meaningful viability once again."

That's a lot of pressure to put on one bowl of chili. But the author pulls it off.

It's a simple story, not too long, but I enjoyed every sentence of it. Excellently written and deeper than you would expect. Highly recommended and I hope to see more from Joe Chili in the future.""
